Quality Control for Multi-System Material Packages
Building material quality control begins with an approved, inspectable requirement—not with a final visual check. Starveil connects drawings, finish samples, exact models, quantities and acceptance criteria to incoming, in-process, pre-packing and pre-shipment hold points across in-house and managed partner supply.

Decision Priorities
What Must Be Clear Before a Reliable Proposal
Early clarity reduces hidden assumptions, unpriced interfaces and late approval changes.
Acceptance criteria
Define measurable dimensions, appearance, operation, evidence and packaging requirements.
Control references
Keep current drawings, samples and schedules available at the inspection point.
Risk-based checks
Give critical interfaces, repeated units, natural variation and concealed work suitable hold points.
Documented disposition
Record rework, replacement, concession or rejection instead of hiding deviations.
Working Model
From Project Brief to Controlled Delivery
One documented sequence connects design intent, commercial scope, technical approval, production and handoff.
- 01
Approve the quality basis
Specifications, drawings, samples and exact models become the inspection references.
- 02
Check incoming materials
Identity, finish, visible condition and required documentation are reviewed.
- 03
Inspect during production
Dimensions, machining, assembly, interfaces and first-off quality are checked at defined points.
- 04
Verify packing completeness
Components, hardware, labels, protection and quantities are reconciled.
- 05
Release with records
Outstanding issues are closed or disclosed before shipment approval.

Responsibility by Gate
Deliverables and Approval Boundaries
Every gate identifies what Starveil prepares and what the appointed project team must confirm.
| Project gate | Starveil deliverable | Client / project-team action |
|---|---|---|
| Quality planning | Inspection scope, references, hold points and responsibilities | Approved before production |
| Production control | First-off, in-process and material checks | Linked to item and revision |
| Packing control | Quantity, accessory, labeling and protection check | Linked to room or opening codes |
| Release | Issue closure and available QC summary | Shipment follows documented approval |
Inspection depth is defined by product risk and agreed scope. A QC record does not replace required third-party testing, local authority inspection or the installer’s responsibility for site storage and workmanship.
Visible Evidence
From Process Claim to Inspectable Record
Photography supports the existence of facilities and activities; drawings, schedules, reports and QC records support the exact product or project claim.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quality Control Questions
What is checked before shipment?+
Checks may include product identity, dimensions, finish, operation, quantity, accessories, labeling and packaging against the approved basis.
Do all products use the same checklist?+
No. Inspection points are specific to the product, configuration and risk. A window, stone slab, cabinet and light fixture require different evidence.
Can clients request third-party inspection?+
Yes, where agreed in the commercial and inspection plan. Scope, timing, access and cost must be confirmed before production.
How are defects handled?+
The issue is recorded and assigned a disposition such as rework, replacement, approved concession or rejection before release.
Does factory QC cover installation?+
No. Site storage, substrate readiness, installation and commissioning remain separate responsibilities unless expressly included.
